A little off-topic, but whilst I agree with pretty much their whole list of things not to do in Lego, I have to say it's a shame they won't do anything religeous. Many of the greatest looking buildings in the world are religeous. Just imagine a huge Notre Dame in Paris with a similar piece count to the Taj Mahal, that would be epic!

When you look at these vehicles that Ninjas "Roll" in, a Sherman Tank seems a little stale..

The point is, Ninjago vehicles do not represent something that's been used to bring about "death, killing, blood, terrorism, or torture".

I don't understand how they could do the indiana jones line according to those standards, it was post ww2 and had 'war vehicles' It is the one line that seems to stick out breaking the standards they have.

But these outrageous Tank-Like Vehicles equipped with Multiple Weapons of Death protruding from every which direction are purposely there to create the "Fantasy" of "Death"

Almost Every Theme in Lego insists on having some type of battle going on... I mean really, what is the real difference if a Ninja Minifig chops of the head of anther Ninja Minifig or if a Policeman minifig has a pistol and points it at robber minifig? Isn't it all still "Fantasy" Violence and Death?

And I am still convinced that "Plant" in the 10220 Camper Van is representing a Marijuana plant...

A great example of military equipment I think is suitable is the Dakota. A cargo plane without weapons. If I see those planes, I mainly think of the liberation, not really death and destruction. I wouldn't mind if they would release a civilian DC-3 either (not counting the Indiana Jones one) but I would prefer the military one. It's even more famous than the Camel.

As for the TECHNIC part: I would love to see some replacement for the 8839 Supply Ship. It is very unique, and with good playability. I would prefer no Power Functions included. It's a system that is currently over-used in my opinion.

About that ninjago crap,

It is (imo) exactly the same "fight" crap as He Man and G.I.Joe.

I bought my 6 year old nephew twice a technic set,

But if you want to see a real happy face It has to be ninjago.

For him it is not the building but to rotate minifigs with weapons.

It is perfect branded by TLG.

2013 woud be a nice year to start UCS Technic.

Strictly speaking they were pre-WW2 (although only just), except for the stupid one with Russians and Aliens in it. I think it's fair to say that was skirting about as close as TLG are ever likely to get and even then they didn't make the tank that plays a pivotal part at the end of Last Crusade.
