As no-one has convinced me otherwise... Vote: Ahsoka Tano (MacK) OOC: GTG guys.
Sisco Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 Aren't you quick to vote? Let me just say right now that while her defenses are rather flimsy, I think there's a good chance Ahsoka is a Jedi. I wouldn't vote her if I were you. Well my situation is somewhat like Master Moudama's (who apparently thinks I'm good enough to be a master!). I have an extremely busy day of training ahead of me, and my small youngling body can't stay up extremely late. I figured that the vote would get rolling soon anyhow, so I wanted to get it over with before I retired, in case she was convicted while I was sleeping and I had no chance to vote. OOC- In other words, I have a crapload of things to do IRL tomorrow, I'm tired, and I just need to go to bed. See you guys later.

You two shouldn't be voting for someone who's towntelling under pressure simply because you have to go. I would like to formally ask Master Yoda if he could add a proxy vote option. What do you say, Master?
Dannylonglegs Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 "Chirpity click clack chirp. Chirp clack tweet screech. Tick click clack chirp chirp." (I believe she is the best lynch candidate because of her obvious pro-Scum argument, as well as her repeated and flawed defensesw. [i.e. claiming that she was only suggesting it because some players may not have been aware that we had the option to No-Lynch. Why would you bother offering inexperienced Jedi who didn't already know that an option that would only benefit Scum? ] If she were to explain her mindset on these fallacious defenses, or, as you said, provide a better candidate, I may switch my vote, but even if she were Town all she's done is confuse us, trip our Scumdars, clutter the thread air, and not offer any concrete opinions or accusations, as she has repeatedly stated she is on the fence about everything she's said, which is a major Scumtell. The reason for my short accusation with little explanation is that I felt Thrrepio and myself had already explained my suspicions thoroughly enough earlier on and I didn't wish for my explanations to seem redundant or tacked on, as my first post statement appeared to be. Once bitten twice shy, as they say. I apologize for any confusion this has caused, as I sadly seem to be quite adept with spreading it. I believe I need to be more blunt and obvious with my posts statements, I shall work on this in the future.) Thank you for explaining yourself. Once again, It was mostly the way you phrased it that tripped my scumdar. "While your points about Master Moudanma are most valid, I must point out that it is not Ahsoka's theory itself that is suspicious, it is her steadfast refusal to admit how unhelpful it was, and her overly defensive response to the comments debunking her theory that bring suspicion upon her." I agree. Her actions have indeed been somewhat suspicious. I just don't think she's scum. The way she pleads her case makes her seem more like she's been trying to find a way to help, and failing, than intentionally trying to manipulate the group into not voting. I think if she was a scum, she'd be more subtle about it, and suggest it when it came up as opposed to having it be her opening statement. If she had waited for it to come up in the conversation she could have said: "I misunderstood what you were trying to say, I was just pointing out that this is how you would have to do it if you wanted to do it. I never actually thought we should do it, it's a bad idea." and gotten of Scott free, as opposed to what's going on now. I do agree with Master Fisto that we shouldn't automatically jump on the ones who were trying to spark a conversation to try and expose the Sith. This is why I don't agree with the Ahsoka bandwagon that's formed. I still think that it's more likely that she tried and failed to say something helpful early on, ignorant of the fact that it was a bad idea in this (and most) situation(s). Aren't you quick to vote? Let me just say right now that while her defenses are rather flimsy, I think there's a good chance Ahsoka is a Jedi. I wouldn't vote her if I were you. Well, it's too late for sense, she's already voted. I agree with you on Ahsoka. She made a mistake in the beginning of the day, and didn't really disown her suggestion until recently, but why would a scum keep herself a suspect for so long? I'm not saying I'm convinced that she's innocent, and the suggestion really can be perceived as an attempt to convince the town not to vote, but I'm not sold on it. Not nearly sold on that argument enough to vote for her. "Click, click click." (I'm afraid I must agree with Master Seosty, as I feel myself becoming drowsy and do not wish to miss this window of opportunity and be penalized for it come morning. There was no need for Ahsoka to 'go down with the ship' (the ship being her idea, of course ). If she was scum, she'd simply drop it and move on. Or, more accurately, she would have been more fencesitty about it in the first place. There's still 48(ish) galactic hrs left in the day Yes, but I believe the Day ends when a conviction is reached. That's it, right?
Nightshroud99 Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 A lot has transpired since my last visit and even more suspects have popped up, including myself it seems. Mace Windu: As I said earlier, he's been constantly pushing on Master Corobb, even when it's been made obvious that Master Corobb has been trying to help. Aayla Secura: I believe her erratic behavior speaks for itself. But, all suspects considered, I'd like a lynch between Mace Windu and R2-D2. Feel free to vote one of them with me. Yes Coryn, I was pushing Master Corobb quite a bit earlier, call it a gut feeling but his posts didn't sit right with me. So I inquired further when others seemed to let it go. I also criticized Euna. And since we're on the topic of criticizing, Bing bip bip! Bip bip bip bop bip bip! BoooooooOOOOOooooop. is it really necessary for you to communicate like this R2? Also, Ahsoka your manic defensive posts are suspicious. Firstly, after several people explained why not voting would be a detriment to the town, you continued to push the issue. Second, your defensive floundering after people started to take notice. Even still, if you were scum I must ask why you'd continue to push the issue as you did? It seems akin to shooting yourself with a blaster in the foot. Other than these two people, I'm a little annoyed that so many haven't even spoken up yet/or haven't contributed much. Like: Voolvif Monn, Barriss Offee, Kit Fisto, Hugar Ssiht, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Quinlan Vos, Saesee Tiin, Eeth Koth, Shaak Ti, Plo Koon. Did I miss anyone?

I can't find any statement of yours dealing with other's behavior that does anything other than agree with something someone else has said or repeat what someone else has said. Including your accusations in the above statement.
Nightshroud99 Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 You missed yourself. Au contraire, I mentioned myself first. And my list included those who have spoken once/twice or not at all. I can't find any statement of yours dealing with other's behavior that does anything other than agree with something someone else has said or repeat what someone else has said. Flipz Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 I'm tired of listening to you people talk. Vote: Ashoka Tano/MacK The time for action is now, and Ashoka has me convinced that she's turned to the dark side. "What the kark? Lurking, saying nothing of ANY value, and then all of a sudden just voting out of nowhere without ANY reasoning or justification for your vote? Do you even realize how scummy that makes you look? I mean, I have my suspicions about Jedi Tanao, but if you'll notice, I have NOT voted for her. I want to give her every chance to redeem herself before making a final condemnation." Well my situation is somewhat like Master Moudama's (who apparently thinks I'm good enough to be a master!). "There's still PLENTY of time to reason and discuss without starting an unnecessary bandwagon on someone so early into our voting period. No, you're just trying to cover for your scummy behavior, and you want to appear decisive and active so as to get off my "not very active" list. Sorry, little one, but that is not helping your case." "Let's also note how little attention she's paid to the conversations today--rather than voicing her opinions on all of the suspects we've put forth today, she seems to have simply picked the top suspect off of my list and then voted. I'm sure tomorrow she'll say 'oh, I had no idea we can't unvote' as an excuse for starting the bandwagon if Ahsoka turns up loyal. " "Congratulations, Jedi Seosty. If you're a Sith, you've just made a huge blunder that will destroy you and your team. If you're just a careless Jedi, you've potentially started a bandwagon on an innocent Jedi, and made it that much easier for the Scum to come along and pick her off. I have half a mind to vote for you right now, but I'm going to wait patiently and see what other leads materialize." "Let me be clear: Jedi Tanao was at the top of my Scum list. But now? That place belongs to Ili Seosty. "
Alex the Great Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 Sorry for not being part of the discussion most of the day, a lot has been said and I had to congest it. I've been meditating a lot and I have some thoughts on the days discussions. Many find Ahsoka to be quite scummy for proposing the non vote, though for me she seems to be a genuine Jedi. She was just examining other options. Though I will vote her If we think that she is the only option. What bugs me is R2-D2 spitting out random noises, not useful, and even the translations by 3PO were really not helpful either. I think it's best to vote someone who is not useful rather than someone just analyzing our options. So for now I FoS : R2-D2 ( Fhomes)
Brickdoctor Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 Au contraire, I mentioned myself first. And my list included those who have spoken once/twice or not at all. No, you said that you were a suspect. You didn't say that you had done nothing to add to the conversation.

I will FoS R2-D2 (Fhommes) Because of pointless posts which are worse than my own wasted discussions.. If R2-D2 doesn't provide me a satisfactory response as to why he is booping and beeping so much, I will cast my vote on him as well.
Brickdoctor Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 Yes Master Corobb, you're right. I will do as Coryn Kellens suggested and throw a proxy vote out there. I will FoS R2-D2 (Fhommes) That's not a proxy vote. It's just a fake vote designed not to use up your one true vote. A proxy is when you give your vote to someone else, and you automatically vote for the same player as the player your proxied voted for.

You can't explain it, so you'll just write it off as 'gut'. It's too early for that - I should know. Your last sentence makes me just itch to vote you, but I'll wait and see what everyone else thinks about my FoS on you. If the majority of them like it, you can claim if you're a PR, and if not, we'll all pile on. Also, Ahsoka your manic defensive posts are suspicious. Firstly, after several people explained why not voting would be a detriment to the town, you continued to push the issue. Second, your defensive floundering after people started to take notice. "Suspicious"? More like sincere. Ahsoka's defenses strike me as pretty town. If she was scum, why would she be so adamant about not lynching? She'd just give up on it so she wouldn't look scummy. Other than these two people, I'm a little annoyed that so many haven't even spoken up yet/or haven't contributed much. I absolutely love how you're floundering and accusing everyone you can since you're under scrutiny. I think we may have found one, fellas. So, does everyone agree that Windu's a good lynch for today?

[in addition to Mace and Ahsoka, who are looking suspicious to me for reasons stated, Aayla and Anakin each responded rather testily to some very early banter (posts 22 & 25, I think). It did not strike me as a measured, Jedi reaction so early.] Bip bip boooOOOO blat cooo. Though Seosty has made 2 posts including the standard start of day Crap. My suspect list is R2 D2: odd behaviour, confusing us, this can help the sith Seosty: made 2 posts before voting, very rash attempt to take out a scum Moudama: Has bought no new points to the table, several useless posts, rash voteing. This could be the start of a bandwagon Ashoka: the no lynch stragey won't help, even though people have said why it won't work she continued to push for it.
Scubacarrot Posted May 9, 2012 Posted May 9, 2012 Wow, okay, let me get this straight. The reason people were going for Ashoka was basically her non-lynch plan. Might I remind you that this is brought up EVERY SINGLE time, most of the time by innocent people. Now people suddenly gang up on Master Windu, for suspecting Corobb? I must say I too still have my doubts about Corobb, I have yet to see anything that would make me believe otherwise. The only thing that really speaks for him is that he is active, but for some reason I think he would be active anywhere, in anything. Looking back at his posts, I don't see particular Pro-temple behaviour, to be honest. So is it that weird to suspect Corobb? Maybe not as much as you people seem to make it out to be. I would like to point out that I was not "Confused" or "Misjudging" when I asked for Corobb's explanation for his action, go read back, if you still think that. It it suspicious to me that Master Windu would describe something as gut feeling, when there are so many statements to read and analyze. Gut feelings are NOT the way to go in an ordeal like this. Does this warrant a lynch, along with his suspicions of a by many perceived Towny? In my opinion, not really. It seems as though I am defending Master Windu, and I have been very cynical about that in the past, but I am really making sure no one has tunnelvision. I, for one, am most suspicious about Seosty, making about 3 statements, one of which casting a vote, while you know you can not unvote? More so, she announced her awayness for the coming time. I find this rather odd, and she looks like either a scum, or an extremely unhelpful Jedi... FoS: Ili Seosty (Sisco)

As for the suspicion list, it is alright listing those who have not spoken, but you have to factor in time zones and the maintaince. You speak a lot, but there is never a solid point in them. R2-D2 may be adding pointless stuff, but has just added a suspicion that has been backed up with a reason.
