Starwars4J Posted November 16, 2006 Posted November 16, 2006 So there's a guy I know who I purchased a few Oxford accessories from. Very nice guy, very easy to deal with. Anyway he recently mentioned that he has a friend over in Korea, who will try to get him some Oxford sets, and he asked me if I'd like any, and he'd ask his friend. I mentioned EB to him, and he's willing to do this for any and all members, but the thing is, there's no guarentee his friend over in Korea will be able to pull through for him. So in the meantime, I'd like everyone here who is interested in Oxford sets (high-quality bricks, great accessories) to post a "wish list" of the sets they'd like, and would be interested in buying if his friend comes through. I know this isn't technically Lego, but I know a few members have interest in the brand ;-) Anyway, here's his message: Thanks Justin! BTW, have you looked through Oxford's site? http://www.oxfordtoy.co.kr/If you're serious about ordering, go ahead and get me a "wish list" of definites and maybes, and invite anyone else you want to do the same. No guarantees, but I'm really wanting to get some of those new ninja sets... :) As my Korean friends say, they look "choo sumni da!" So go ahead As long as you are serious about buying them :-)
natelite Posted November 16, 2006 Posted November 16, 2006 wow...i checked the sets, and they arent cheap. the castle sets have really funny minifig accessories. the hats are hillarious. looks mostly like fright knights and a really weird rounded top hat. p.s. ooops...just saw an enlish link at the top right corner. :-P
oo7 Posted November 17, 2006 Posted November 17, 2006 Nice sets, I wonder what the prices are... even if I wanted one there is way too many too chose from... Look Oxford Vs. Starwars4J Posted November 18, 2006 Author Posted November 18, 2006 Yeah, they're usually purchased for the accessories, which are nice. They fit wonderfully into MF hands, and really blow some of the Lego ones away (especially medieval weapons). Like I said, if anyone's interested, let me know. If not, I'd be glad to give a review when I get a set, though I'm not exactly sure if/where I should.
