Lego Otaku Posted May 7, 2012 Posted May 7, 2012 The new X-Wing model for £40 on buy it now. £10 cheaper than from the LEGO store. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LEGO-9493-X-WING-FIGHTER-4-FIGURES-ALSO-FREE-8028-TIE-FIGHTER-SEALED-BOX-/261017035268?pt=UK_Construction_Toys_Kits&hash=item3cc5d3e204#ht_1207wt_283 I'd also like to ask, how are they able to make money like that? 3 likely possibilities: 1: The seller bought some at a deep discount like 50% off. This is what I do, I buy stuff marked very cheap, then list it on Bricklink for profit. 2: stolen from local store It has happened before, look in old news about guy who was busted for ripping off Target stores for over $200,000 USD. 3: it's a dropship scam where seller pays LEGO.com full price, have it delivered to your address, then seller files chargeback on his credit card (or credit card was stolen). The buyer ends up being responsible for the full amount and the buyer may not even know unless he/she tries to buy direct from LEGO.
