LEGO Family Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 (edited) River Song always carries this book around with her. Its a guide for where and when she meets the Doctor, and what to tell him. River Song first meets The Doctor in the silent library season 4 episode 8. But there is much more to it. And im not gonna do any spoilers. But for you who wants to cut straight to the real deal about this little blue book and why it all over sudden have a red ribbon around it, have a look at Lets kill Hitler Season 6 episode 8. Simple build, simple picture. Anyhow hope you like it . :) Edited May 4, 2012 by LEGO Family Quote
Darkdragon Posted May 4, 2012 Posted May 4, 2012 Excellent job on the book. It looks really true to the show. Not quite sure about the ribbon, I'd have to watch episodes again to see if that color and size are exactly accurate Quote

LEGO Family Posted May 10, 2012 Author Posted May 10, 2012 Great way of doing the pages! nicely done. Thanks. And im glad i used the grey grill tiles to be honest. I didnt have enough White, so i went with grey. Ive gotten more white grill tiles lateron, and redid it. It just doesnt look as cool as with the grey ones imo. Thanks for replying. :) Quote
Puck Posted May 10, 2012 Posted May 10, 2012 Amazing! I find that the ribbon adds a nice touch to it. My sister and I were thinking about doing something like this. Mind if I use the idea? Thanks! -Puck Quote

LEGO Family Posted May 13, 2012 Author Posted May 13, 2012 No problem. In fact, i like that we are able to help. We have learned so much from the community. Giving back some of the knowledge is just a great gift. I hope you post your build when it comes to that. Would love to se some more Doctor Who builds, like yourself , offcourse. ;) Quote
The Blue Brick Posted May 13, 2012 Posted May 13, 2012 I have never seen Doctor Who, or know what it's about, but that book is awesome. I love how you used the grill pieces to look like pages of a book. Quote
