Paul B Technic Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 I have just finished uploading some photos to my blog of the trailer I designed and built that goes behind my Unimog. This was a project that took me a couple of weeks, the version I am showing was the fourth version I built. My original plan was to have a tilting bed but the weight was too much so I changed this to rear loading ramps. My Blog Quote
Alasdair Ryan Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 Did you try 2 cylinder's,also the way you attach them is important too.The bed should start to tip as soon as the cylinder is pushed out. Quote
timslegos Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 Nice trailer. looks a little overloaded with the backhoe . tim Quote
dr_spock Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 Nice work. Instead of PF, have you tried using pneumatic cyclinders to tilt the bed? Quote
