What would you want to change or introduce in Lego? Do you want more products? New themes? Direct updates as to when a product is getting discontinued? If you do, I can help you!

I work at the Bluewater Lego Store in the UK. We have a Continuous Improvements board in our staff room where we can all leave ideas for things we think would be good to introduce or change in the store. And I think if the Community could get a voice in we can all make TLG better than ever! So leave a reply with your thoughts or ideas and I'll make sure they are added to the board. =D

Personally, I would love to see LEGO Avatar: The Last Airbender being reintroduced because The Legend of Korra had recently aired on Nickelodeon.

I think we'll get Lego's attention better through CUUSOO, but whatever. A direct employee might be a faster way. I, personally, would love to see a Legend of Zelda theme, not just one set, as noted on CUUSOO. Other than that, I think that Lego Star Wars is missing a huge amount of Episode II sets. I don't think there's been a set released since 2003. (I don't count UCS Obi-Wan's Starfighter.)

For me it is more trains and train related models or bits pack with the large steam wheels and connecting rods etc.

For a complete new theme I would love LEGO to team up with Games Workshop and do a W40K or even fantasy theme although I realize that is hardly likely given the grim dark nature of that setting. So I'll stick with trains.

Unless you can get a second wave of Alien Conquest or give us some update on any other space related themes?

Is The Last Airbender done by Universal? If so, we may well be doing some other Universal sets (i.e. Back to the Future DeLorean from Cuusoo) I'll post it up on the board.

I'll get Zelda added to the board, although I do believe a few of my colleagues have already posted such an idea. I haven't heard any news of next years Star Wars but I would expect some to turn up what with the re-release of episode two in cinemas.

I must agree with you that Trains does appear to be declining a bit. When Emerald Night was discontinued I was a bit put back by the fact there wasn't a new steam locomotive released. And the only train related set is the station. A new road crossing and maybe even a wagon washing area, like in the classic train sets. I did put up saying that Lego should re-re-release the Metroliner, undoubtedly my favourite train set.

Thanks for the points you've passed on so far, I'll get them added as quick as I can.

I'm quite happy with the current selection of LEGO themes (though I'm sad to see Kingdoms seems to be indefinitely on hold because of the LoTR sets, and I'll miss the HP line) and I'd love for many of them to continue (especially the Superheroes line); the biggest area for improvement for me is not in the sets, but in the availability at the PAB walls. I'd love to see more bricks that can be used by people working on ambitious projects. I totally get the need for brightly coloured 2x4s because obviously LEGO wants to appeal to kids, but it would be great to see more pieces, especially in muted colours. Sometimes it feels like no matter what LEGO store I go to, the part selection is only slightly different. I'd probably spend a ridiculous amount of money at the LEGO store if the PAB walls had more parts, or changed parts quicker. :classic:

Also, it would be interesting to see more Disney themes, though that would probably have more appeal for kids as I'm probably part of only a small number of adults who would love to see themes devoted to classic Disney characters (in LEGO, not Duplo!).

Edited to add: Oh, I almost forgot my most important complaint (and I don't have many complaints with LEGO): I'd like to see a more conscious effort to include nonwhite minifigs in the licensed themes. The purpose of flesh-toned minifigs in the first place was, as far as I know, to match the variety of characters in licensed sets (I believe LEGO agreed that having a yellow Lando would be odd, for instance). I'm not sure about the degree to which they have control over which characters they can use for licensed themes, but I'd like to see more of an effort. A Kingsley Shacklebolt could have come in one of the Hogwarts battle sets, for instance. As for the current themes, we really need that Nick Fury minifig that we thought we'd get, and there are plenty of other characters they could make minifigs for (Storm, Luke Cage, etc.). On that note, more female minifigs in some of the licensed lines would also be appreciated -- I'm mostly thinking of the fact that, as far as I know, none of the LoTR sets have an Eowyn or Arwen (though I know Arwen is not exactly an action character).

More information on when a theme and individual sets are to be discontinued would be nice. Packs of lots of parts in certain colors (Esp. rare colors, like sand red) would be cool as well. Oh, and a Doctor Who theme would be nice, though I suppose as often as it's been suggested, if it hasn't happened yet it probably won't.

The reason why most stores appear to have the same bricks in PAB is because at the start of the year the bricks are chosen then, and that there are only a limited number (around 40 or 50 I think) that they can choose from. But yes I agree there needs to be more variety (I've heard we hope to add another 20 or so bricks next year).

Yes the current Disney sets are now losing their popularity a bit, so would be nice to do something new.

Lego does still seem to be a bit casual with the amount of female figs they do, licensed or not. We definitely need more!

I have suggested myself that we add a section to the website that lists all items being discontinued sixth months in advance of them being pulled from the range. We've had a lot of feedback on the need for more rarer colours to be sold in packs, such as purple, lime green and pink, so I think that may be on the board already but I'll add another note. I totally agree with the Doctor Who theme, alas Character Building have the contract for Doctor Who and already have about 8 sets out. The BBC seem to of chosen CB to make their brick playlets. Shame...

I too would like more attack of the clones sets. I prefer a new design of Jango Fetts slave 1 and set 7133 Bounty hunter pursuit.

Also, I would really love more city sets based on buildings and NOT vehicles. This is because my whole town is filled with vehicles but there are no buildings.

I would prefer more sets like city corner. Also, I am dying for more civilian houses. It would be cool if they made a couple of houses(3 to 4) small $40 ones.

They would be like a mix of classic town, creator, and modular. Hopefully this is clear enough, but that is what I would really like.

Wild West, whether Cuusoo-style modular or regular theme-style, needs to return. Things like Minecraft are all well and good, but Western is a very basic theme, plus I heard several new Western TV shows will be coming out soon on the major networks, so I think the fanbase is there. One move that could make it more popular would be to move it from Union vs. Indians to the now more-popular Sergio Leone-style with WWI-style American doughboys against poncho-wearing Man with No Name lookalikes (controversy about shooting Indians would be gone). I think people would flip over sets like that, and if LEGO wanted to employ the old reliable collectable parts, I could see various gold chrome treasures and loot being fun for both kids and AFOLs, like the Pharaoh's Quest line.
