Im a brickmaster. Posted April 21, 2012 Posted April 21, 2012 (edited) Edit: Here is two more pictures, one of the parts and one bounes pic! Heres anouther pic. So for my first big post I preasent to you: Whiplash! Ive had this minifig for a while and have been meaning to do something different with the electro whips, so dont beat up on me for that! I would post more pictures but my max upload wont let me, so maybe later Ill get more pics on. Comments anyone? Edited May 16, 2012 by Im a brickmaster. Quote
Vindicare Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 Well, for a purist custom, it's pretty good. The whips aren't bad...but they're not good. I was thinking maybe one of those flex tubes, but they'd stick up instead of drag on the ground. Hmm... I'll have to think about this. Quote
LuxorV Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 Nice purist custom, Im a brickmaster. Thanks for sharing. I would post more pictures but my max upload wont let me, so maybe later Ill get more pics on. That's because you're using the attachment system, which allowes limited space only. You should try to upload your photos on some photo-sharing site like Brickshelf or Flickr (first link is to a tutorial, second to the site itself), and then deeplink them here. Hope this helps you. The Blue Brick Posted April 22, 2012 Posted April 22, 2012 Very nice purist design. I do agree you could change the whips. Maybe to chains? I never saw the movie, so yah. Great job though. Quote
Im a brickmaster. Posted April 22, 2012 Author Posted April 22, 2012 Thanks for the tip Luxorv, Ill try and work on the whips. Quote
ED-209 Posted April 24, 2012 Posted April 24, 2012 I don't usually go in for purist customs, but that's very nicely done! Quote
The Joker1 Posted April 24, 2012 Posted April 24, 2012 Great work I really like this as I am a purist man myself. Do you mind if I borrow the design for myself? Quote
Im a brickmaster. Posted April 24, 2012 Author Posted April 24, 2012 Great work I really like this as I am a purist man myself. Do you mind if I borrow the design for myself? Sure man, actuly you guys I painted the hair, it was brown. Quote
ED-209 Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 actuly you guys I painted the hair, it was brown. I actually thought it was dark brown in the picture! Did you paint it black? If so, it still could be considered a purist custom, as that piece is available in black! Quote
tafkatb Posted April 25, 2012 Posted April 25, 2012 Really nicely done! What head is that? It actually looks quite a bit like Mickey Rourke. Quote
