Wow how lucky are you. The only things I find in my wardrobe are socks. :cry_sad::tongue:

Take it the other way around - how small my apartment must be, that i have to have LEGO sets stored even in the places where the socks should be...

Simplest thing for these kinds of questions is to have a look on bricklink for prices to get a feel for what you could sell yours for. Then you could also factor in whether you want to sell quickly (so price a little cheaper)

I recommend keeping and building it, it's a great set. But, you can get a hefty ransom for it. You should be able to get $800+\-. it's a bit foggy though...how you're happy accident has been in your wardrobe for just two months when this has been retired for a few years. Either way, good luck with the sale.

Here is Bricklink's price guide, and it shows that you should be able to get around $1000 for your set on a decent day.

This set is beginning to be very rare, and while your set is not absolutely pristine, it's extremely interesting to anyone that wants to build a new Cafe Corner. The value of CCs that have been put together from new and used parts with parts substitutions of some of the rarest and most expensive parts is still in excess of $500 dollars in my eyes, so getting a little less than double for a set like yours is not unreasonable. The list of parts in the CC that are now very hard to find is pretty long, it includes the 1x8 dk. blue arch, the gray doors, the white panels etc, and they run up the price like crazy.

Feel great about your good fortune in having saved this set for a rainy day, you are probably going to make an AFOL very happy with this set!

Thank you very much, guys! I had no clue that there is sth like BL price guide! Thanks a lot. I´m not forced to sell it, but it would help me to get sets i´m interested in sooner then expected.

Thx again.
