Batbrick Posted May 23, 2008 Posted May 23, 2008 Definately a must for Wild West. I had listed "Expanded Mine" meaning a mine scene much more developed than the official Lego Mine. Something along the line of a Dwarf Mine, with mining carts, a few tunnels, traps, etc. I went ahead and listed your suggestion - definately a good one. Ah I see, thanks. I'd love to see the theme return, seems there might be a chance with that catalogue poll Another I'd love to see would be a cactus shootout scene or something, just for some cool Lego cactuses and Wild west scenery. Batbrick Away! Quote
cyclone501 Posted May 23, 2008 Posted May 23, 2008 Hello! Here is an idea: an orchard. I mean, like an apple orchard with a small shack and some barrels of apple cider. A couple of farmer figs too. And a missus with apple pie That would be awesome! Also, I like the idea of a pioneer wagon or something. And....... I found a sweet moc made on ldd of a 1880's train car. Looks awesome, no? Link to purchase, may need to wait. Quote
Dovchenko Posted May 26, 2008 Posted May 26, 2008 Hi Sdpirate. I don't know you yet, but welcome to EB. If you check the 1st page of this thread, you'll see a list of the various ideas from various EB members. I think someone named Pony Express a while back. Still a good addition to any WW town. Thanks man, but I've been around. I guess I must have been too lazy to spot the posts or something, but yeah, someone should MOC that. Probably you, seeing as you have the kind of haunted WW theme pinpointed. Glad to meet you! Quote
Klaus-Dieter Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 (edited) That's a great and very interesting topic with a lot of great ideas and great stories, TheBrickster! Sorry for firstly commenting on this topic now - how could I only miss it?! These are all great ideas mentioned until now! And of course a saloon, a Western train with train station, a stage coach, a post office and a farm/ranch are the sets TLG really should release and has to release if they came back with the Wild West theme! Here are some ideas I think which haven't been mentioned before in this topic: cowboy/civilian sets: grizzly bear attacking a forest hut lumberjack's camp ranger with packhorse town hall cableway from one to another hill, with the sheriff in one cablecar chasing bandits in the second car "Western Town Plan" with town hall, saloon, post office, stage coach, seperate horses, mayor with wife, barkeeper, post officer, coachman, cowboy and bandits settler family with covered wagon Indian sets: some bandidts attacking an Indian fishing canoe tribal chief's burial with bier Indians' buffalo hunt medicin man's tipi army sets: US/CS army sick bay with tents CS soldiers with covered wagons, frontier patrol and fort ghost town sets: ghost cowboys attacking a rangers' camp graveyuard ghost train minifigs: Indian kids settler men, women and kids ghost cowboys animals: grizzly bear Klaus-Dieter Edited September 29, 2009 by Klaus-Dieter Quote
Sir Dillon Posted September 29, 2009 Posted September 29, 2009 Right now this topic and the Ideas For New Sets (Wild West) topic serve the same purpose. I don't mind using either one for the discussion, but if people continuing posting in both I may lock one. Quote
Klaus-Dieter Posted September 30, 2009 Posted September 30, 2009 Right now this topic and the Ideas For New Sets (Wild West) topic serve the same purpose. I don't mind using either one for the discussion, but if people continuing posting in both I may lock one. I totally agree with you, Sir Dillon. Both topics are great! But it's really a bit difficult to choose where to comment and where not to comment when you want to comment on a special subject relating WW. So the best thing would indeed supposably be to close one of these topics. But please add a link (in the first page of the topic you keep open) to the then closed topic since there are surely people who want to read the comments in the closed topic, too (but when searching a topic you only find it very difficult). Thanks. Klaus-Dieter Quote
