Ship Building Help with Piece #47404

I recently bought 7 of this piece (In Reddish brown) on Bricklink in the hopes of building some smaller ships.

Now that I have them, I can't seem to find any MOCs that use this piece as the hull.

Could anyone direct me to some or give your insights on how to make the piece work?

I used that brick in a gunboat,

and with a similar hull brick I created a small cutter (a long time ago).

Here's a moc I did a while back using that piece. It's a good size piece for smaller ships. I was inspired by the old Imperial Trading Post merchant ship.
