Hello,

I am looking for ideas/inspiration on how to mount or hang a sign in front of my modular business. The characters were too many to incorporate into a SNOT design with the structure, so I have it written over FOUR 1 x 4 bricks, stacked one on top of another. Any thoughts or ideas beyond sticking 1 x 2 bricks underneath would be appreciated!

Thanks,

I'm not quite sure I understand what you are looking for, but how about something like the sign on my pub?

I too am a little confused, perhaps an image of your sign so we can see for ourselves to then make suggestions. :look:

Sorry, my sign is printed on 4 bricks - (four) 1 x 4 bricks - below is the simplest way I can think of to display the sign outside of my modular business - like the pub above I would love to hang it from a pole or display it in a more realistic 'ornate' fashion, instead of just sticking bricks underneath it. Hope that makes it more clear!

Thanks,

You could try a trick from one of my early MOC's.

Using clip plates to attach the sign to the walls or roof of your building with a bar to attach it. :classic:

That is awesome, exactly the technique I was looking for, thank you! What pieces comprise the ornate post?

A 6 long bar, an old school Fabuland lamp post, now attaching your 4 wide sign is then simple, 1x1 clip plates with 1x3 plates and at the top of the very top mount a 1x4 tile, underneath mount just a 1x4 plate both for strengthening the mounts. :classic:
