The first set that brought me out of my short "dark age" was set #8262 Quad Bike in 2009, which somehow inspired me to name myself "4WD". I'm generally a fan of the licensed themes (I got the Queen Anne's Revenge for my birthday today, which is now my favourite set of all time), but Technic still has its rightful place. I also kind of picked the name because me and my dad went ATVing the summer I bought it. While Technic isn't my favourite theme, as I said, it still has its rightful place.
