OoC: what about elemental imbued weapons?

Johon turns to the bard.

"You can run right?"

"Team, give the bard your elemental gems!"

Johon attacks Worm (amethyst eater) from the front row with his meteor blade and then tosses the bard his meteor blade!

Posted

Johon passes Knifk his pick-axe.

"Bard says these might help."

Ooc: giving items to someone else takes a turn from both, don't waste it, we don't need the free hits, just attack the amethyst one.

Knifk twirls his sword, then strikes the Opal eater from the front row. He grimaces. "Time to test out Knifk's new gloves."

Bard Song: Concussive Force vs. Worm

Posted (edited)

QM Note: The worms won't actually eat your gems, they will just do triple damage to anyone who is holding a gem. This includes any weapons that have gems attached/encased inside.

100x100bard.jpg

Singerson danced around a few of the worms to get to the party. "Yes, I can run with the best of them. Can sing while doing it too. I know a lovely running song we can sprint to if need be." Singerson played a screeching note and shouted loudly in order to play Concussive Force...

Results of Round One of Rock Worm Battle:

Knifk vs. Opal Eater - Damage

Johon vs. Amethyst Eater - Hit ...........................[(8 + 16) * 2 = 48]

Guts vs. Emerald Eater - Shield ..........................[((8*3) + 14) * 2 = 76]

Hybros vs. Ruby Eater - Shield/Special Damage ..[(((10 * 3) + 17) * 2) * 2 = 188]

Hybros vs. Topaz Eater - Critical Hit/Miss ............[(((10 * 2) + 17) * 2) * 2 = 148]

>Elgar vs. Diamond Eater - AIM ..........................[9 + 12 = 21]

The battle against the Rock Worms 3 began. The Worm was stunned by Singerson's shout and would miss its next turn. The Opal Eater flung itself at Knifk's shield, dealing 2 damage. Johon brought light to the Amethyst Eater with his Meteor Blade, dealing 48 damage. Guts attacked the Emerald Eater with his frozen dagger for 76 damage. The Emerald Eater then coughed up 76 gold coins it had eaten earlier for breakfast. Hybros dashed the majority of the flames emanating from the Ruby Eater by dealing 188 damage. The Ruby Eater also coughed up 188 coins. It must have shared the same meal as the Emerald Eater but was a bit more greedy. Hybros stabbed the tail of the Topaz Eater for 148 damage as it tried to dodge. Elgar aimed a perfect shot at the Diamond Eater for 21 damage, but his lightning dealt no extra damage vs the bright creature. The Worm flung itself at Knifk, dealing 2 damage. As it slid off of his shield, Knifk counterattacked for 23 damage but the Worm was immune to Knifk's earthen blade. The Aquamarine Eater struck Johon for 7 damage and the Sapphire Eater struck Guts for 8 damage.

Ooc: So hold on, they basically all do 3x damage to all of us, so 24 damage if I am in the front row?

"Grrr, sod it. You served me well back in that cave, but you are useless to me now!"

Guts charges with his shovel at the aquamarine worm from the front row.

OoC: Yes, standing in the front row, if a special is rolled against a Gem Eater, the hero would be hit for 24 damage.

Results of Round Two of Rock Worm Battle:

Hybros vs. Ruby Eater - Miss/Miss

Hybros vs. Topaz Eater - Shield/Miss...................[(((10 * 3) + 17) * 2) * 2 = 188]

>Elgar vs. Diamond Eater - Damage

The battle against the Rock Worms continued. Singerson's song confused the Diamond Eater for the next 3 rounds. Knifk effectively struck the Opal Eater for 64 damage. Johon struck the Amethyst Eater again for 48 damage. Guts used his shovel against the Aquamarine Eater and cut off half of its body for 100 damage but broke the shovel head in the process, destroying his shovel. Elgar repeated his attack against the Diamond Eater and was bit for 4 damage. The Diamond Eater felt the effects of Elgar's poison and received 1 damage. The Sapphire Eater flung itself at Knifk dealing 2 damage and the Emerald Eater flung itself at Johon dealing 7 damage.

"Its nice to see that I have fans," said Singerson.

Concussive Force - This song stuns one opponent. This song can only be sung once per battle. “I’ve got a powerful voice, don’t I?”

What Were The Words? - This song confuses one opponent for three rounds. This song can only be sung once per battle. “The lyrics to this song don’t exactly make sense, but that’s whats so great about them!”

Soothing Lullaby - This song puts one opponent asleep and one hero asleep (determined by a die roll) until woken up or attacked. This song can only be sung once per battle. “I haven’t quite worked out the lyrics to this song yet...”

Star Struck - This song causes the blinded effect on one opponent for three rounds. This song can only be sung once per battle. “My song is so amazing. People recognize me when I sing this song. Its like they can’t see anything else...”

Dirge of Dispair - This song revives one fallen ally to full health during a battle. This song can only be sung once per quest. “Ah...the dirge. This song is far too sad to be sung more than once in a very long while...”

Party Leader, decide what opponent is targeted by Singerson's song. Only one song can be sung per round.

Party Leader, choose the order of action.

All of you, choose your targets and the row you want to fight in. Also mention if you want to try to flee or if you want to use an item instead of attacking.

Any enemy not targeted will get a Free Hit on the party after everyone has acted.
