jonwil Posted March 23, 2012 Posted March 23, 2012 I plan to build the Telstra building (it is a building owned by a telephone company in Australia) in Architecture scale. This link should link to a picture of the building. https://www.nearmap.com/?ll=-31.950659,115.853923&z=20&t=k&nmd=20120123 I plan to make the main tower 8 x 8 in size. Where I am stuck is the curved roof feature, I need ideas for what part would work for it. I have considered http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=30099 except that it looks too big. Anyone got any suggestions as to what part would work? Quote
moctown Posted March 23, 2012 Posted March 23, 2012 You mean the Telstra Corporate Building in Melbourne? Can't find a curved foof feature on it ... Quote
jonwil Posted March 23, 2012 Author Posted March 23, 2012 No, the Telstra building on Wellington Street in Perth. Quote
Darkblane Posted March 23, 2012 Posted March 23, 2012 I'd say that the closest you could get at that scale would be one of the following bricks rotated 90 degrees (so the inside curve is facing out and up) and joined to the rest of the structure via SNOT: http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=6005 (the back would also be curved) http://www.bricklink.com/catalogItem.asp?P=88292 (the curve isn't quite right, but it has more studs for connection and the back would be straight) Quote
