Si-MOCs Posted March 21, 2012 Posted March 21, 2012 Si-Moc's Micro City The utopian city of ToroLUG is the home of the builders of tomorrow. Unfretted by reality, these brave souls build the impossible of the imagination. From the depths of dark space, to the parallel ABS recations of current day, to the past fantasies of forgotten times - nothing is outside their reach. Flickr Quote
brickmack Posted March 22, 2012 Posted March 22, 2012 Weird looking city, but I love the greebley look of the buildings. Quote
prateek Posted March 22, 2012 Posted March 22, 2012 (edited) I like this! The ToroLUG lettering is a really nice detail, as is the monorail! Hopefully the Godzilla doesn't destroy too much. Super cool! WAY better than ROOK's! I'd say Si-Moc's City = Rook's City Yours is definitely smaller scale, so the extra detailing only makes sense. Can't wait to see this at the store! Hopefully the Godzilla doesn't destroy too much. Can't wait to see this at the store! This won't be in a store... it won't fit the window If you ever come out to the show you'll see it :) and Godzilla is just having a little snack This great. I love the optical illusion with the letters. :D I was really afraid the letters wouldn't come out and all my efforts wasted... Quote
Captain BeerBeard Posted March 22, 2012 Posted March 22, 2012 That is the coolest micro scale city I've seen! What does greebley mean? Quote
Sid Sidious Posted March 22, 2012 Posted March 22, 2012 That is the coolest micro scale city I've seen! What does greebley mean? It has greebles. Greebles are usually small pieces used to break up a large flat surface. A lot of Star Wars ships have it, especially the Super Star Destroyer. Quote
