legoMD Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 (edited) This is my first post. I've been a life long Lego fan and my kids are now fans too. We put together a city using a combination of new sets and pieces from my old sets. Here's a view of the main part of the city: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/legomd123/City/img_0094.jpg Here's a lake next to the city: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/legomd123/City/img_0095.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/legomd123/City/img_0101.jpg This is a train station that I made. Still have to work on the interior: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/legomd123/City/img_0096.jpg http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/legomd123/City/img_0097.jpg This is "science lab" area with a mech that my son made: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/legomd123/City/img_0099.jpg I am also are working on a larger "Toys r Us" store. Again, no interior yet: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/legomd123/City/img_0100.jpg And finally a night view. I used some LED's in parts of the Grand Emporium and Pet Shop: http://www.brickshelf.com/gallery/legomd123/City/img_0104.jpg Any suggestions would be appreciated! LEGO Guy Bri Posted March 15, 2012 Posted March 15, 2012 Welcome to EB, 'legoMD'. You have a nice city set up here! The LED's look great in the GE and I like the joining track loop, around the lake and the larger TRU. I plan to build a bigger one as well. I would be very afraid if I was the guy in the mech, though. He looks top heavy , but he did a good job building it. Anyhow, you and your kids have a great layout. I hope to see it expand Quote
