-zenn Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 'Great Scott!' Just found this on youtube; a flying Back To The Future DeLorean RC model. Somebody should make this out of Lego. Would it be possible? Quote
Legogal Posted March 13, 2012 Posted March 13, 2012 Holy cow! That is one cool flying machine! Looks like it is in Siberia or somewhere far off. Brrrrrr! Seems it would have to be built on some kind of flying/helicopter type RC chassis unless one glued the bricks together for strength. Love the lighting on this thing in the dark....wow! Quote
just2good Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 (edited) You want a LEGO BTTF DeLorean? Support it on LEGO Cuusoo, and once it gets 10,000 supporters, it most likely will become a set. It's almost there, with 6,000+ votes. Edited March 14, 2012 by just2good Quote

Oky Posted March 14, 2012 Posted March 14, 2012 Wow, this is heavy! (Or very light, seeing as it is flying.) Thanks for sharing! I was thinking more in the lines of Technic... are those motors powerfull enough to get some lift? Well, it is already very hard to get Lego airborne (Check out this thread for more on that), so building something completely out of Lego that can both fly AND resemble a DeLorean is most likely impossible. However, there are some ways to cheat in order to get the same effect (again, check the aforementioned thread for more on that). If somebody pulls it off, though, that would some serious shit. Quote
