Wardancer Posted June 4, 2015 Posted June 4, 2015 Your Ripley is great! Made me remember the scene from Prometheus. Quote
Praiter Yed Posted June 4, 2015 Author Posted June 4, 2015 looking pretty nice :) Those are really good! Nice work. Thanks Guys Barbarella? ;) I have a list and Barbarella isn't on it - but never say never. My list consists only of Sci-Fi films I enjoyed in my youth... I didn't really enjoy Barberalla, except for the first 5 minutes perhaps Your Ripley is great! Made me remember the scene from Prometheus. Cheers. I started work on two more Ripley's, both from Alien (Flight Suit & Space Suit versions) and I don't know why, but I just lost the motivation to finish them - maybe now I'm on a bit of customising streak I'll get around to completing them. gavralcraw Posted June 5, 2015 Posted June 5, 2015 (edited) Hmmm. sci fi movies from misspent youth - Megaforce!!! http://3.bp.blogspot.com/-8CLtcA67x3c/TgZ96xZunTI/AAAAAAAAAVQ/cK9mTvUD24s/s1600/Megaforce+-+Booklet+04.jpg Edited June 5, 2015 by LuxorV Image too big. Turned into link. Quote
Praiter Yed Posted June 8, 2015 Author Posted June 8, 2015 (edited) ^ Nooo, I've never even heard of Megaforce, but if Barry Bostwick is in it, it must be good! I suspect that you are looking for a topic on 'cult' sci-fi customs rather than 'classics' . Although, my next entry has already been described as 'obscure' on flickr... Jonathan E. Retro version on flickr This is actually a WIP using the torso decal from the back of what will be the final custom. It's so basic that I just couldn't resist using it as a retro version of Jonathan E. from Rollerball (1975). Edited June 8, 2015 by Praiter Yed Quote
Praiter Yed Posted June 15, 2015 Author Posted June 15, 2015 Two more additions: Alex from A Clockwork Orange and the finalised version of Jonathan E from Rollerball (1975)... Custom Lego Alex from A Clockwork Orange on flickr Lego Custom Jonathan E from Rollerball (1975) on flickr Quote
gavralcraw Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 Alex is brilliant. Rollerball is great too! Quote
Praiter Yed Posted June 17, 2015 Author Posted June 17, 2015 Alex is brilliant. Rollerball is great too! Thanks I'm hoping to concentrate on some more Star Wars customs next, so I'll be taking a short break from Sci-Fi classics, but hopefully not another 2 year break! For now here's a look back at most of what I've done so far (some of the figs pictured have had updates since original postings)... Custom Lego Classic Sci-Fi minifigs on flickr Quote
