Captain Flint Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 It's time to ring the bell. Move it to work, poor orc. Quote
The_Cook Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 I feel the bell might have been nicer in a warmer colour than black, but the rest is exquisite. The icicles are an inspired touch, very clever. Quote
maydayartist Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 Wow awesome creation. Everything looks so beautiful. And the balancing of all the materials fit perfect. Phil Quote
markus1984 Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 very good job i like the stone wall from the tower, looks geat. Quote
JackJonespaw Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 This is great! I love the touches of silver on this. Quote
Redhead1982 Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 The stone work is amazing, and the wooden part of the tower is a nice change in the materials. As said before, this style of building really suits you. I'm looking forward seeing more from you (in hopes of a larger diorama, perhaps ). Quote
Balthasar Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 again such a nice, clean smooth build from you. Great style, I love it! Compliments for the small but perfectly executed landscaping. Keep 'm coming! Quote
de Gothia Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 So clean and crisp photos makes this moc even better! The details on the tower as well as on the landscape is great! The light grey details on the dark grey tower is a great! I have to order some of those light gray tiles! Quote
MikeyB Posted March 10, 2012 Posted March 10, 2012 Love this. great build! I know you have snow in the scene but this would look great in Avalonia (by the way I believe guild is now open to new members ) Quote
LEGO Train 12 Volts Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 Beautiful tower! I like the use of rocks for the ground floor and the wood for the upper structure. The decorations to the window are excellent! Quote
mephistopheles Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 I feel the bell might have been nicer in a warmer colour than black, but the rest is exquisite. The icicles are an inspired touch, very clever. While there are many forms of church bells (Bronze, brass, iron) I have seen many black cast iron bells. I think cast iron is the cheapest and since this Bell tower doesn't look like a rich lord or archbishop built it actually seems to me that using a black bell is the best choice. Just my 2 cents. Excellent MOC by the way. :) Quote
lightningtiger Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 Wonderful timber and stone structure 'Captain Flint', the detailing to the lower stone section is just the bomb ! Scenery too is fantastic. Brick On 'Captain Flint' and ring that bell orc ! Quote
Johan the Yellowhead Posted March 12, 2012 Posted March 12, 2012 Really love the detail. Especially those plants and those icicles! I get chills just by looking at it! Quote
