Cerator Posted March 8, 2012 Posted March 8, 2012 My name is Mischa and I am from Austria. Being exposed to Lego on an everyday basis through my kids the collectible minifigures finally brought me back to Lego. I'm planning to do some MOCs and vignettes, but have still to acquire some basic bricks so I don't have to borrow too much from my kids! Main Lego interests: Collectibe Minifigures, Castle, Star Wars, Lord of the Rings Main Non-Lego interests: Raytracing, electronic Music, Boardgames and technology in general and HTML5/CSS3, JS and iOS especially Quote

What do you think of the LEGO Games series? What about LEGO Heroica? Anyway, I'd better stop asking questions and welcome you already. Welcome to Eurobricks! Quote
Cerator Posted March 10, 2012 Author Posted March 10, 2012 Boardgames, eh? What do you think of the LEGO Games series? What about LEGO Heroica? We have quite a lot of the Lego boardgames and we enjoy them with our kids! My son also has all of the Heroica games (except for Ganrash of course ) and always invents new scenarios. Personally we prefer more complex Eurogames like "Settlers of Catan" or more recently "Dominion" or "Kingdom Builder". Quote

It's a fantastically complex boardgame that nonetheless rarely gets boring to play. Imagine Risk, but better, with more detailed attack modifications and scoring goals. It's a tad expensive, which is why I plan to recreate it with LEGO and a secondhand game board, but if you've got the spare cash it's definitely worth the buy. You might enjoy the Heroica RPG we have over here in the Games forum, as well. Quote
