______ Posted March 7, 2012 Posted March 7, 2012 Considering that the 60's Batmobile has to fit two minifigs side by side I would think a 6 wide version would be extremely difficult to make it look good, what about 7 wide or 8 wide? It would be hard to get those iconic red lines at the front of it to fit into 6 wide as well. Quote
stayunspoiled Posted March 8, 2012 Posted March 8, 2012 (edited) I have been thinking the same thing... Would love this batmobile, especially since Batman and Robin (Damien) have been running around in it (or a very simillar batmobile) in the current B+R comic. Also found this... SoupOrFishOil Posted March 8, 2012 Posted March 8, 2012 I tried this in LDD a while back, and found it pretty hard. I had to upsize to eight studs, and even then I gave up. I could get the shape, but I couldnt intergrate the red too well. Anyway, if you do succeed, or even try, I'd love to see it. Quote
stayunspoiled Posted March 8, 2012 Posted March 8, 2012 Here's another one, this one is 7 studs wide. Instructions too! INSTRUCTIONS Quote
moop Posted March 8, 2012 Posted March 8, 2012 I love that, but it would be nice to be able to use some bubble cockpit windows instead, if those even exist. Quote
______ Posted March 8, 2012 Posted March 8, 2012 Here's another one, this one is 7 studs wide. Instructions too! INSTRUCTIONS That one is very nice, like I said, 7 bricks wide is a lot more reasonable than 6. Quote
Captain Green Hair Posted March 8, 2012 Posted March 8, 2012 Oooh, this one is on my list too, and it has to be absolutely 6 studs wide. I'm curious to see what this thread might bring. Quote
Cobb Posted March 8, 2012 Author Posted March 8, 2012 Oh nice, sadly something more urgent came up...drainage problems, have to clear the entire frontyard. So... Quote
emmetwannabe Posted July 8, 2014 Posted July 8, 2014 You could probably get some inspiration from the 1966 lego batmobile instructions here http://store.payloadz.com/details/2081189-other-files-everything-else-classic-1966-batmobile-lego-instructions.html Quote
