phade Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 Hello everyone! It seems I have just emerged from my "Dark Ages" haha! It all started back when I was a wee child, lol. I used to play with Lego all the time when I was a kid as probably most of you did too. Then I found video games and computers and entered my Dark Age. Two years ago, my fiance bought me the Space Needle Landmark set for Christmas and my love for Lego was beginning to spark again. This past Christmas she bought me the Burj Khalifa Landmark set, as well as the Knight Bus Harry Potter set. Since then, it seems my love for Lego has come back full swing! It seems like I'm buying a set with every paycheck! :D Anyway, this place looks really cool and I hope to get to know some other AFOLs and enjoy my time here! :) Quote

I haven’t set foot in Alabama in over 2 decades and I dream of the day when I can dig my hands into some Alabama red earth again, with scent of sassafras and the taste of boiled peanuts. I never went through a full-on Dark Age (more of a period of reduced activity), but I certainly can identify with spending every last dime on LEGO! 2012 is shaping up to be a great year for fans of LEGO like us!
