LDD MOC: Gondola Car

I know this has been done before, but I wanted to share my version of a gondola using the Minifig Stand Part.

The pics are very large, so I"m going to link to them. (My re-sizer screwed up the proportions.)

The trucks are built using these instructions by Cale Leiphart. Obviously, it's missing the wheels.

Very nice MOC. I slapped one together pretty quick for my OTM Tracker project, but didn't really put much effort into it. I may have to go back to remake it....I really like the look of your version.

I made one for the Christmas train contest (that I see you participated in). I like yours a lot better. I'll have to clean out the pine needles in mine and re do it. Nice job!

The gondola I used for this was really an after thought. I think I put about 15 minutes into the design (which I decided to do while ordering parts for the truck and crane). The OTM Tracker project is linked here.

I haven't had the energy to re-visit this since Christmas, but I have a few things I need to try to re-work, and the gondola is definitely one of them. Thanks again for the inspiration.
