Tervlon Posted March 5, 2012 Posted March 5, 2012 Just when you thought it was safe to see the world and buy an ice cream sandwich a new villain takes to the streets. While evil's strategies often rely on force and fear Cthuluteddy relies only on force and cuddliness. As a result of these new tactics humanity is desperate for a hero, but none are to be found. Tentacled Teddy Bear rules the day. I hope you all enjoy this strange yet cuddly MOC of pure evil that shows what happens when you have too much time on your hands. Quote
Lord Of The Fries Posted March 5, 2012 Posted March 5, 2012 Very evil This and the Darth Vader one go very well together! Also, does that Manta headpiece just fit straight on or did you have to cut it somehow? Quote

The manta headpiece goes straight on and just needs to be twisted a bit to get it around his ears. No cutting required. Quote
Behind the Camera Posted March 5, 2012 Posted March 5, 2012 Very adorable and very creative! I also like how you so accurately recreated the Statue of Liberty's pedestal on such a small scale. It seems like that was no easy feat! Quote
Vindicare Posted March 5, 2012 Posted March 5, 2012 Nooooooooo! Not Lady Liberty! The horrors!? A fun little creation, the lighting on the first is downright menacing. Quote
Flipz Posted March 5, 2012 Posted March 5, 2012 Dude, that's awesome. I think I need to put this into a Heroica Quest sometime. So, how did you attach those tentacles? Are they attached to the base, or are they a separate build cleverly positioned behind the bear? Quote
SirSven7 Posted March 6, 2012 Posted March 6, 2012 'No one suspects the teddy bear' (que Evil Laught) funny build, I like how it destroyed the staute of liberty Quote

I haven't played Heroica, but I do look forward to trying it out sometime. As for the tentacles, they aren't attached to the base or bear but rather held on by the Manta headpiece's tail in back. It's super fragile, but I will try to get a picture if you'd like. It uses simple pieces and construction. Thanks all! Quote
Vindicare Posted March 7, 2012 Posted March 7, 2012 Uh...what exactly in the post you quoted is so funny? I must be missing something there... Quote

(FYI, I'm talking about the RPG here in the Eurobricks Games forum, not the actual Heroica sets--I'm still waiting for a good sale on Waldurk Forest for that. ) Quote
Ceroknight Posted March 8, 2012 Posted March 8, 2012 Awesome! Now I want a teddy bear piece/figure Quote
-zenn Posted March 8, 2012 Posted March 8, 2012 That one teddy I don't want to cuddle with... Somehow it also reminds me a mutant from X-men. Quote

Amset-Rah Posted May 18, 2012 Posted May 18, 2012 I think we found Cthulhu's teddy bear. That said, great job, even if I was a little late to the party. Quote
