J1A3L5 Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 Hi all! I haven't posted here in a really long time - I don't think I know many (or any!?) of you anymore. But I thought I'd show you all my newest model: It can be seen on three sites, depending on which format you prefer: Brickshelf MOCpages Flickr Thanks for looking again, and let me know what you think! -John L. Starwars4J Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 Welcome back :-D Very nice MOC you have here. I like the towers, but I'm absolutely in love with that waterfall *wub* A couple questions about one of these pics: Is that a trick of the light, or did you actually manage to illuminate the fire? If so, mind explaining the method you used? Also, what is that curved brown plate you used for the balcony? Quote
Lost Viking Posted October 25, 2006 Posted October 25, 2006 That is actually not curved, look at this image. But the fire is still a mystery... 8- Quote

Eurobricks Emperor Bonaparte Posted November 2, 2006 Eurobricks Emperor Posted November 2, 2006 I noticed this beautiful castle already on BS. The pictures are very nice and show some good details. Exellent choice to use the Black Falcons to inhabit the castle. Is is possible to show some pictures of the internal of the castle? Or are the roofs not removable? Quote
highlandcattle Posted November 12, 2006 Posted November 12, 2006 This chateaux really is the BF fortress in bricks.... Quote
Sir Dillon Posted November 14, 2006 Posted November 14, 2006 I think I commented on CC, but this is one awesome castle. I love all the curves. Quote
Norro Posted November 16, 2006 Posted November 16, 2006 I'm guessing the fire uses one of the new exo-force fiber optic cables... God Bless, Nathan Quote
J1A3L5 Posted November 18, 2006 Author Posted November 18, 2006 Thanks all! As you guys discovered, it's simply brown plates, and the fireplace lights up. It uses an exo-force light brick, triggered by a crank system hidden inside a window. The inside of the keep involves a gear system to activate it. I've since acquired two more of the light bricks and cables, and would love to make a copy of it where all 3 flames work, in a future model! As for the interior, I'm afraid it doesn't. Aside from the room with the fireplace, there's no interior to it. Most of the internals are filled with structuring to keep it's shape and strength. Thanks again, -John L. Quote
