Orlego Posted January 17, 2005 Posted January 17, 2005 You know out of all the films that won awards ive never seen any of them :-D Ha ha ha, same here. I really wanted to see Ray when it was still in theaters and I also want to see the Aviator. I'm glad the Ian McShane won for his role on Deadwood. For anyone who has not seen it, Deadwood is a great show on HBO. From the website... "In an age of plunder and greed, the richest gold strike in American History draws a throng of restless misfits to an outlaw settlement where everything Quote
The Middleman Posted January 17, 2005 Posted January 17, 2005 Yeah, Lost rules. Golden Globes are worthless anyway. OSCARS ALL THE WAY! Can't wait for those. Quote
jonfett Posted January 18, 2005 Posted January 18, 2005 I agree. Golden Globes are are a bit of a waste of time. Sure it would be good to win one but what with all the other awards (especially the Oscars) these just are meaningless. And I haven't heard of, yet alone see, any of these films! ;) Jon. Quote
DoubleT Posted January 18, 2005 Author Posted January 18, 2005 But It looks lik Miss Portman going to have an great year :) And Golden Globe for "Closer", and a great movie last year cald "Garden State".. and sw of cause... Quote
Vader Posted January 18, 2005 Posted January 18, 2005 Ian McShane is one of the most underated actors out there and deadwood is a good show so it deserves the credit its got. Quote
Orlego Posted January 18, 2005 Posted January 18, 2005 I hope Deadwood wins a ton of awards this year. And your right Vader Ian McShane is one of the most underated actors around. The casting agent also needs an award because everyone works so well in that show. Keith Carradine who played Wild Bill was amazing. Quote
Vader Posted January 18, 2005 Posted January 18, 2005 Mcshane has been on our tv screens for about 10 yrs now and hes always been a good actor even in shows that sucked he always stood out. Quote
Orlego Posted January 18, 2005 Posted January 18, 2005 Yeah and Keith Carradine has been in a ton of stuff including his role as Buffalo Bill in the movie Wild Bill in 1995. IMDB does not have him or his character listed for Deadwood. Quote
