gonzilla Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 (edited) i need help identifying/finding a set. i seem to remember a town/flight set that included a black airplane that had an odd double-tail fin design very much like the 6582 daredevil flight squad plane (http://www.peeron.com/inv/sets/6582-1). it seems like it was available in the early 1990's but i could be remembering the set incorrectly. does anybody remember this set? ..joseph g Edited February 29, 2012 by gonzilla Quote
SeanM Posted February 29, 2012 Posted February 29, 2012 (edited) My guess would be Midnight Transport 1687. The tail on the plane was the coolest thing. It reminded me of an F-15 Strike Eagle. By the way these guys were my Lego Town drug runners in 1993. Edited February 29, 2012 by SeanM Quote
MadManMingo Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 Mmmmm this brings me back That set came out after I had put away my Lego-stuff, but it has this very classic look and touch of late 80's and start 90's. I'm glad that TLG has moved on and reached the amount of details we see in todays set'. I'm no classic 4-stud fanatic, and I don't think that this old style would have pulled me out off my dark ages as an adult, but maaaan.... they shure were fun to play with as a child!!! Quote

And why "midnight"? No good happens after dark Speaking off illegal activities, Remember 6563 Gator Landing? Those guys on the bayou also seemed to carry a lot of cash and briefcases, considering they only had a shack, 4x4, and fan boat. They also had a very similar color scheme to their vehicles Quote
