Does anybody know if the part files from any of the lego design programs can be made to be compatible with rhinoceros 3D or if there is a library of parts out there that will import into Rhino? i.e. dxf files

I recently tried MLcad and I found the navigation around the model clumsy since I am so familiar with using rhinoceros 3d. Otherwise i will just need to spend more time and practice.

Thanks Henry

LeoCAD can export its models in 3DS format, which I believe Rhino 3D can import.

Yes. I tried a few parts and it seems to work fine.. Thanks for your help you have saved me lots of time. Now I can create my Rhino Library of parts.:classic:

I think LeoCAD is the only one that can export files into a format other than LDR/L3B, from what I've seen anyway. I could be wrong. :sceptic:

LDView can also export in 3DS and STL file formats.
