The_Customizer Posted February 26, 2012 Posted February 26, 2012 The year is 1000 AD, mechanics are slowly discovering how to use steam to power their engines and weapons for a stronger power than the rest of the world. What better way to move these crazy contraptions around, other than on a dinosaur? So, the work began. At first they were unsure they could even discover a way to bring one back to life, yet after 10 years of intense studies and long dedicated hours they were finally able to bring to life a Triceratops. This was the first step towards a new military that would soon dominate the world. Without further ado, the pictures! :D Steampunk Triceratank (1) by The_Shy_One©, on Flickr Steampunk Triceratank (2) by The_Shy_One©, on Flickr Steampunk Triceratank (3) by The_Shy_One©, on Flickr Steampunk Triceratank (4) by The_Shy_One©, on Flickr Steampunk Triceratank (5) by The_Shy_One©, on Flickr List of Brickarms used: 2 Bronze Miniguns 2 Gunmetal Miniguns 2 Rusty Cimmerian Pickaxes 2 Golden Gunblades 1 Swirled Brown and Black Flintlock pistol And for those who like to know the little details and such, I scrapped and rebuilt this thing about 5 times to bring you the best i can. :D Enjoy! I am not sure if this is the right forum for Steampunk, so if the mods need to move it to the right forum, that is perfect, thanks! Quote
Vindicare Posted February 26, 2012 Posted February 26, 2012 Nice! I was wondering when someone was going to fit the dinos for battle. This is pretty cool. I like the mini guns turned smoke stacks. I think it could use more smoke though. Quote

Yeah, unfortunately I don't have a lot of "smoke-like" pieces, and there aren't a whole lot of places for smoke on here, as the machine is moved by the animal, and the Steam simply powers the weapons, and other such things. Darkdragon Posted February 26, 2012 Posted February 26, 2012 This is great, i love it! All the details you put into the mechanics are wonderful. Colors are perfect too. Quote
Si-MOCs Posted February 26, 2012 Posted February 26, 2012 Awesome. I've been toying with some of the Dinos - but I hadn't thought of this ... Well done! The details are lovely - total steampunk. Let's see Legolas try to take one of these down My own suggestion - and it's not an easy one - but the head of the Triceratops seems to be missing something - can you give it goggles or something? something steampunky - probably impossible, but would freak'n awesome. Well, that's true. I guess you don't really need engines when you have dinopower. Quote
Icare Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 this dino is very stong, this seems to be very heavy Quote
Laura Beinbrech Posted March 1, 2012 Posted March 1, 2012 I just love this! It's steampunk and has dinosaurs in it, two of my favorite things... It it was any more awesome it would explode! I love how you used the bronze BA miniguns for the vertical boilers. I also like your BAP flintlock pistol. Quote
