Great job, Cunctator! This really IS another blow away city layout, wow, i'm impressed!!

I love the way you built up the lively cityscape by using official LEGO sets and your own creations, which are by the way gorgeous! :)

Keep up the good work!

Awesome, simply awesome! What a big city! :oh: The level of detail you've put into it is simply amazing. There are so many different little sceneries to detect.

Great job!

Thanks for the update. Town hall fits in very nicely. Also, there are some lovely buildings around that I'd love to have a closer look. Both 16-wides next to the tan building look interesting, and so does the dark red building. You're lucky to have so much space for a great layout. :classic:

Mind-boggling fantastic, overwhelming... Aahhh, need I say more? Wonderful build here, I love the combination of ‘official’ sets with your own creation. And then also the adjusted 'official' sets! Love it. Oh, I wonder, if only I had two of those Green Grocers, the world would look so much... greener...

Last update for 2012 with my last modulars! I eliminated the green area in front of the buildings to give more room to modulars.

Top overview:

Here my last modular: a pharmacy and a boutique at ground floor.

Hope you like it!

Very, very impressive and thanks for sharing!

Personally, the green space works for me; you need someplace to expand in the future, right?

One thing I would do is make some sort of 'background'. Something spray painted a simple light blue (something along the lines of a City box background would be better!) would look 10x better than a brick wall and would make your lovely work stand out so much more.

this town is truly awe-inspiring. i plan to have a city layout like yours in the next couple of years, and i will look to yours as inspiration. thank you.

Impressive town! :)

Did you used that system for the roads to save space and bricks?

Hope you don't mind if I keep some ideas from your modulars.

Uh, your cinema is much better than the new modular set :)

Your city is really impressive! Beautiful MOC's and the modulars together and a big layout too, I like it. How large is your display table?

That cinema looks like the artdeco cinema some of us expected to get.

The town's size is what makes it stand out, because it gives the feel of a real city.

Thanks to everybody for the comments.

@Salvobrick: brick built roads are wonderfull but for the moment I prefer to buy bricks for buildings.

Feel free to keep ideas even because I did the same with your town houses

I'm glad you like my cinema: I will buy anyway the 10232 that for me is a very good building

@Phazon: Thanks! The layout has not a regular shape, If I remember well it's ~3.8m long with 2.8m of train layout.

Keep watching for further updates!
