Does anyone happen to have a list of the parts in 8038 Battle of Endor that are used in building the AT-ST? I'm looking to make one from scratch since it doesn't look like there are any hard to find pieces in it.

I dont personally know, but if you go to lego online, you can look up for the instructions from them, and then search through the list at the back/end of the instruction book (pdf file) and then compare that to looking at what parts are used to make it, in the instructions make-up of the AT-ST.

I had a quick search on itt, pages 22>60 of instruction booklet 1 show the instructions how to build it.

It is a long winded way of doing it, but its the simplest way I know of...

Unless you go on bricklink, and add the complete set of 8038 to a wanted list, then just check through the instructions, note down everything that is needed for it, then just remove anything that isnt needed form the list

That's what I was planning on doing- parting out the set on bricklink, going through the instructions and picking out the pieces needed. I was just hoping someone might have it so I didn't have to do that

I'm not sure how accurate the model is, but you could download the LXF from the official sets in LDD topic, delete all the pieces except those of the walker, and use Superkalle's LDD Manager to get a list of the bricks used in the resulting file of the AT-ST.

I'll give that a shot- it may be a lot easier. Thanks!

edit: It worked! Thanks again!

I am learning/playing now with LDD for other set.

If anybody wants I can share the AT-ST inventory for import into BrickLink (or BrickOwl).

I got 3 for EUR 31 each.
