Esben Kolind Posted February 21, 2012 Posted February 21, 2012 Hey all, I have edited a 4-minute video from the train layout at Lego World 2012 in Copenhagen this past weekend. The video features: Footage from the driver's seat from most of the loops of the layout Warren's St. Pancras Station Oppermann's Steintal Matija's Western Train Layout The Great Belt Bridge Behind the scenes footage under the big mountain A hidden underground station My own Intercity Train with Automatic Doors At the end there are some "deleted" scenes: A near crash on St. Pancras and a quick reaction from a spectator saving my camera from certain death (I had not checked where the track ended when sending the camera off in front of the train without any coupling!) The movie was shot with my pocket camera mounted on this little fellow: Enjoy! Esben Quote
harnbak Posted February 21, 2012 Posted February 21, 2012 Damn it! I should have known about this event... Some very nice details here: the bridges, historic town square and the station! Quote
Captain Green Hair Posted February 21, 2012 Posted February 21, 2012 Excellent video, I really enjoyed watching it. Thanks for sharing! Quote
McBuddha Posted February 22, 2012 Posted February 22, 2012 We were there. Extremely nice idea, shooting from the locomotives. How I wish it was still open at Bella Centre. :) Thansk for making the film. Quote
brickitect Posted February 22, 2012 Posted February 22, 2012 Nice video Just curious: What train is that at the 1min 17sec mark? Quote
Nebsirob Posted February 22, 2012 Posted February 22, 2012 (edited) @brickitect It looks like a V11.5 TEE (Trans Europ Express) with a new color scheme. Edited February 22, 2012 by Nebsirob Quote
JasperL Posted February 22, 2012 Posted February 22, 2012 I really LOVE the camera operator at the back! Quote
Esben Kolind Posted February 22, 2012 Author Posted February 22, 2012 @brickitect It looks like a V11.5 TEE (Trans Europ Express) with a new color scheme. It is indeed, just in a danish version: More info (in danish) and pics here: http://www.toglyde.dk/soelvpilen.htm Quote
Kazz Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 It is indeed, just in a danish version: More info (in danish) and pics here: http://www.toglyde.dk/soelvpilen.htm Thanks for sharing. I love watching the onboard videos. Some nice scenery too Quote
LAKAbricks Posted February 23, 2012 Posted February 23, 2012 Thank you for sharing the video, Esben. It was funny to see the layout from the driver's view. I also went to Lego World this year. The first time for me. It was really enjoyable and definately not the last time. Unfortunately your intercity train with automatic door wasn't running when I saw it. But it's a really great feature. brickitect Posted February 24, 2012 Posted February 24, 2012 @Nebsirob, @Esben Kolind Thanks for the info and pics. I did a quick search on Brickshelf and it seems this train is quite popular for MOC. Quote
