DLuders Posted February 20, 2012 Posted February 20, 2012 Your Work-In-Progress (WIP) looks good so far! I like the use of the Unimog's portal axle pieces. Quote
ciken Posted February 20, 2012 Author Posted February 20, 2012 should i use hard or soft suspension Quote
timslegos Posted February 20, 2012 Posted February 20, 2012 should i use hard or soft suspension I like soft suspension on trucks because it allows the wheels to travel more over obstacles where hard suspension doesn't allow the wheels to move very much. tim Quote
ciken Posted May 12, 2012 Author Posted May 12, 2012 i have finnished it a while ago but i did forget to post the pictures Quote
Lipko Posted May 12, 2012 Posted May 12, 2012 You should use soft suspension for slow rock-crawling, and hard for fast moving on terrain (like desert racers). So for a Tatra I would use soft suspension. I've found this link very useful: Modes of Travel, Ride Height, Suspension Height, & Wheel Travel Quote
