jeffrey Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 If any of you read the news before, the upcoming lego game is featured on "Batman" , but is it better to put exo-force series into gaming? You can drive Grand Titan defend the gate, fly with Whiet Lightling, and beat all robots with Strking Venom. The robots are just like the clones in SW. There should be 2 modes like LSW Different character have different characteristics. While playing as machine.,Ryo can repair it's machine ; Takeshi has the heaviest armor; Ha-ya-to has the greatest speed; Hirato can take one-shot killed but it has the longest loading time Hope we can see the exo-force Lego game Quote
Zarkan Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 I was thinking about that as well, jeffery. The only problem would be that since the mechs are so big, making a game simalar to Lego starwars would be much harder (I can't really even imagine 2 player). A better alternative, IMO, would be a simple RTS style game where you can really build an army of mechs and vehicles. I know that since the target audience is kids, it might not be fesable, but even as we speak, Supreme Commander, the most anticipated RTS of 2006, has been given a E10 rating (meaning any kids ten and up can play it). So, I hardly think that is out of the question. ;-) In a Exo-force RTS, you should be able to play as either the robots or the humans, and you could do campaigns with each of them. There should be multiplayer, and most of the Exo-force vehicles should be buildable in the game. As for the violence level, since it would have to be E10, the only vilolence would be mechs and buildings blowing up in many different ways. X-D Quote
Kahgarak Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 I think it should be an MMORPG (like World of Warcraft), but with the Earth in the EXF storyline (starting on Mt. Sentai) and you would auto-save whenever you would sign out (like RuneScape). Also, you would be able to choose from four types of pilot: Sentai soldiers,Police,Devastators and Criminals. Each type would have these kind of mech categories (with mechs depending on the type of pilot): Hardsuit (such as the promo-mechs), Micro (such as Uplink), Small (such as White Lightning), Medium (four basic mechs), Large (Striking Venom) and King (Bridge Walker). And in each category, there would be the weapon types: Assault,Sniper,Defense,Sabotage and Medic. The controls would be like MechWarrior, and you would be able to start clans, designing your own clanflag (which is shown on the armor of clan mechs) and fight with other clans in various arenas in several cities. You would also be able to step out of your mech and ''park'' it to walk around like infantry, wielding guns like in Half-Life. That would rock.Whoops,correction...That would ROCK. Quote
dillthepill Posted October 22, 2006 Posted October 22, 2006 An Exo-Force game would be totally far out! *wub* Quote
