A cute little train, with many fun little details. At first I thought the monsters made it look somewhat apocalyptic, but in the end I find it to be rather motley.

Is it safe to use those gears as wheels? I used to have a few of those, and they broke quite easily if I recall correctly.

Yes, I have found it is safe to use the gears as wheels. They have been sturdy. They do not get much abuse though.
