A long time ago there was something that came with a magazine in the UK that may of been a LEGO set, except it was a sticky toy instead of a bricks set. I'll try to describe it.

It was a long time ago, definately 2000s.

It was in the UK. It came with some sort of (British) kids magazine. Maybe something like "Toxic".

It was your basic magazine toy packaging.

It may or may not of actually been LEGO. If it was then it may of been associated with CITY or Pirates.

It was a red (or pink, whatever) octopus that wasn't made out of bricks but rather a sticky toy that would attach to a flat surface (maybe like a suction cup), maybe like one of those Alien pod toys.

Has anyone heard of this before?

I THINK I know what you mean... I'll find my old catalogue and scan you the page.

EDIT: These ones? I think these are the only suction cupped things I've seen from Lego.

Wow...those are interesting! But, it looks as though you may have found it, the red fella could be it?
