kermit Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 Here is my star ship Enterprise based on the ship from the movie First Contact. As you can see I was limited in special pieces to build it so i had to improvise ; namely in the saucer section where I only had two parts. Artifex Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 I think you are doing great, although the saucer seems a bit big in comparison to the other sections of the ship. It looks great from most angles, and I guess this is going to be a very nice MOC! Quote

The saucer part did come out to big because since I did not have the other half of the saucer curved pieces, I had to make the plates in the back half longer so as to make it look spherical. Quote
Si-MOCs Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 That's a great start. I actually like how you did the back saucer parts - Enterprise E had a less symmetrical Saucer. SO the back does look good. My other thought is where are the red fronts to the nacelles ? Don't forget to put in the bridge too! Hope to see more! Quote
Hewman Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 Given the limited pieces at your disposal, you've done a brilliant job! Quote

Putting the red fronts to the nacelles on the blue piece i used would of been impossible and would not of made the nacelles look good. Quote
JackJonespaw Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 This looks good. The back end looks somewhat fragile, though. Quote

I think it could be done but would takes lots of small bits, so if you don't have them then it is understandable. With LEGO you can do most things given enough bits. Having said that it is hard to make good Star Trek stuff due to the curves and I quite like your Enterprise. I think you've done a good job with a few bits available especially on the shape of the saucer. Quote
Scorpiox Posted February 16, 2012 Posted February 16, 2012 Nice small creation, ironically I'm watching the new Star Trek prequel as I type. Quote
