dhc6twinotter Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 Welcome to the forum! Your truck reminds me a bit of the 1940's era Dodge Power Wagon. I like your use of turntables on the rear axle. Nice hood ornament too. Quote
Mas Bambang Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 Cool MOC and looks very tough. The bonnet reminding me with a Russian truck or something from Eastern Europe. Quote
sama Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 This is beautiful, and its huge! Always love an rc truck with a gearbox. You made good use of the panels and rims (front rims)and its 6 by 6. NEXT STEPS- Create a 2 wheel drive motorcycle. Quote
Omikron Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 Very nice truck, cool idea with rear suspension and using turnables that way But I think rear axles are overloaded a bit or this is just a photo effect? Quote
bb15080 Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 Very nice truck, cool idea with rear suspension and using turnables that way But I think rear axles are overloaded a bit or this is just a photo effect? I have exactly the same thought but still is nice well done:thumbup: Quote
Nimdian Posted February 15, 2012 Author Posted February 15, 2012 Thanks for the comments :) Very nice truck, cool idea with rear suspension and using turnables that way But I think rear axles are overloaded a bit or this is just a photo effect? Yes it must be the photo effect i believe those 2x 9L links prevents it from bending. Quote
timslegos Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 Nice BIG truck, pretty good for 2 nights. How did it perform in the meet? tim Quote
Nimdian Posted February 15, 2012 Author Posted February 15, 2012 Nice BIG truck, pretty good for 2 nights. How did it perform in the meet? tim Well it is working OK. Suffers from an axle which comes free after some time. And having no front suspension. That axle can be fixed but first i have to remove the body. So it can wait for now :P Quote
