LDD MOC rocka v.1

I have made Rocka v.1. he is equipped with a weapon nicknamed the exterminator which fires cryptiod blasts.

this is him in an action pose.

now before you go all crazy and start posting comments about how he was built in 2.0 form I will tell you that this is just my MOC of what I think he would look like in the V.1 build.

Hey, this looks like it would be a good set. Most of the build is average, but the gun is great. I especially like how you incoperated a bone piece into the middle. Looks good.

A cool idea, but I think you went and made his gun a bit too huge and complex. Compare it to the smaller arm-weapons of Alpha-1 team and it's too big, and compare it to the dual weapons of the rookie team (which, at that point, Rocka would fit under), and it's freakin' enormous. I don't know what to recommend for a replacement, but I know it needs to be smaller and simpler.

Well I like the gun and I will keep It this way, but everyone should have an opinion.

This MOC is fairly generic except for the gun, which I don't think suits it very well. The gun design itself is excellent, but the problem is that it's very big compared to a 1.0 hero, and the 1.0 hero arms don't look muscular enough to carry a gun that big with just one hand. The "weapon arms" of Bulk, Stringer, and Stormer were also fairly large, but they weren't nearly this big and had the advantage of giving the characters bulkier arm designs as part of the package.

Overall I like the gun, but I feel it would belong better on a larger MOC.

Well, it looks better, but I still think you could have at least had him hold it with both hands. Thouhg that's just my opinion.
