-zenn Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 (edited) This bike actually started out as a Tronish bike. But when I was building, it progressed more to look like the bikes from the movie Priest. I messed around with several color highlights, but it just looked better in one uniform color. Crusader; a motorbike inspired by 'Priest'. Flickr Gallery Comments and critisiscm welcome. Edited February 14, 2012 by -zenn Quote
MetroiD Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 Tres cool, the turbine up front works great as the focal point, but the details are equally impressive! And yes, it looks awesome in one uniform colour. What makes it really top-notch for me though is the fact that you haven't had any problems with seating the minifig; great job (and NPU) on that! lockdownTF Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 do the tyres still turn like normal wheels or are they fixed in place? Quote

Thank you. Well the bike is actually really sturdy, so after finishing it, I always put the fig on at last. And I only had to adjust its posing a little bit. do the tyres still turn like normal wheels or are they fixed in place? Yes and no. They can turn, but due to cheese slope bricks on both ends they aren't able to do so. It was more for aesthetics than function. Quote
lightningtiger Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 Excellent futuristic cycle '-zenn', wouldn't be a weapon on the front of the handlebars eh ? Brick On Ride On '-zenn' ! Quote
JackJonespaw Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 Looks great! Some very clever piece usage going on! Quote

That rimless design looks smashing... and to be perfectly honest - who needs them to turn anyway! This is definitely inspirational, I should try a minifig bike with this rimless design as well someday... Quote
