mephistopheles Posted February 13, 2012 Posted February 13, 2012 (edited) Hi folks! Over at mocpages I have seen a cool idea by Brian Kescenovitz to increase the size of your minifigs. I wanted to try this out and figured that a battlemage might have some prebuff spells to appear or actually get bigger. It is not historical of course, but I hope fantasy stuff fits in here as well. You can find my original post on mocpages here. I added a normal size minifigure for comparison. My link Edited April 7, 2012 by mephistopheles Quote
Wardancer Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 Looks good! Did you sharpen the swords? I wonder if heightening the torso would also work with a regular 1x2 plate where the middle has been carved out. This would be more work that with a grille, but it would avoid the pattern on the side. Quote

Now I thought it would be a good time to use them. Good idea with the 1x2 plate. However I am very clumsy and would most likely cut my finger of. Quote
Poison Ivy Posted February 14, 2012 Posted February 14, 2012 Wow, nice technique here. My only complaint is that the arms look a bit too short compared to the lengthened legs and torso. Perhaps the Woody arms from Toy Story would look better than regular minifig arms here? Quote
Jesperallen Posted February 15, 2012 Posted February 15, 2012 This is a great idea I´ll definetely will use myself, thank´s for sharing! Quote
