was there a reason why the pictures needed to be 800x600? i do all mine in 1024x576 (email size) and set them to around 90KB each .

Siegfried, if I do a WIP thread about my tsats project, do my WIP pictures count towards the 6 picture limit? Or, is the 6 picture limit just for a finished moc?

I'd like to add a WIP thread, but I don't want to waste my picture limit on WIP stuff instead of a finished project.

personally i think everyone will like to see the development of your ideas, i know my own water jeep has many more photos than 8 in the thread i started for it because i have been developing it as i go along, once complete i will create 8 photos to be in the competition and a video if that is ok with Siegfried.

Because there are a lot of people still running screens of 1280x1024, which depending on browser and screen setup, can be too big to view. Why do you need them bigger?

Can I put some images though my MOC is not finished and running at 100% ?

Yes/

sure, my moc is not finished yet and it is listed in the tsats index

Indeed. The main purpose of the TSATS index right now is so I don't "lose" entires. I will be updating the images closer to the date so making WIP topics is cool.

No. Feel free to do that providing you make a new topic before the voting starts.

i will modify my first post too, to get a proper overview over the finalized model.

Sure, but a final topic (with a link to the old if you want) will need to be made later.

Thanks everyone for the cool entires so far! :sweet:

It is still surprising how meny people do not know how to 'link' picture's or videos properly.

I'm new at this forum, and unlike other (photography) there was no problem in uploading images directly to the forum

sorry

12 more days to go and we already have 12 entries - i am very curious who is holding back/ still working hard at their MOCs before the deadline passes!

I hope TLG is watching this topic, they certainly have not made a lot of ships and this challenge proves you can make great ship models using technic.

You live in Germany, I'm in the US. It's March 19 here so would that not be 14 days?

I am currently working on a nxt lego controlled boat but there are a couple of things that I have added to help with the floating which are 5grams of lead shot in each of the hulls, hot melt to seal up the hulls and some cling film to cover the nxt to keep it watertight. Also I am using an android app to control the vessel so would I still be eligible to take part in the contest

I'm currently building furiously. Havent got time to take pictures so making a topic is pointless. I must say that i started really late since all my MOC-time is in a other project. (which i now have delayed because of the contest...)

I'm still working on my entry. Progress has been slow due to a very busy schedule....I may not be able to finish it in time. We'll see.

As an FYI for people who haven't been watching the way I've always run contests, the ending date is fluid. In this case however I do expect the entry to be substantially started for it to be valid. In other words, a topic showing a 50% completed model should be made at the very least. So there's no need to give up just because there's a week to go.

I'm working on something (already over 50% finished). I have more time this week, so I hope to finish it before the deadline :classic:

So, how much time do we have left?? If the deadline is fluid, it's still a deadline...

Well, an exact date isn't really necessary, but is it 1 or 2 days extra? Or 1 week?

After today, I'm not sure if I'll finish my entry. I've been sick for a few days, and I didn't made any real progress last week.

Something must be posted here by the deadline. Then I can give up to about two weeks for finishing.

Hello again!

Can I ask for 1-2 additional days after 31 of March for completing my entry since the last package with bricks is finally clearing the customs in my country?

I've already posted the entry before deadline =)
