Turaga of Force Posted October 18, 2006 Posted October 18, 2006 (edited) I saw a custom ARC Trooper going for over 100 dollars so I looked at it then I saw another almost identical one from a different seller so I am beginning to wonder if the person hacked into accounts with good feedback to sell stuff? Not that I can afford them but to warn the winning bidders. And, especially since it is painted rather than printed with laser print or whatever its called I'd think that it wouldn't go so high. But ARC troopers are cool... my favorite thing in SW! But Commander Gree and Darth Vader/Anakin are up there too... XD
Holly Posted October 20, 2006 Posted October 20, 2006 I don't know if these are dodgy or not - but they don't follow the same format as the hacked listings I saw (and fell for) a couple of weeks which all had several things in common: * Buy It Now only *24 hour listing (in order to minimise risk of real seller logging in and spotting they'd been hacked) * Hard to find, desirable MISB sets at lower than usual price *Paypal only (so no payment address needs to be supplied by the fake seller) *100% positve feedback seller Holly
