Bernd Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 I'm planning to build some little mocs with these four characters. A wizard, a dwarf, a knight and a female ranger is not that innovative, but nevermind. Actually at first I just build something around the stairs. Quote
Jesperallen Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 It´s a nice little scene. Like those stairs a lot. Quote
Teh Stud Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 Looks great! The stairs are really nice, and I like the feeling that the dungeon expands more than we see. I bet there is an edit wizard hiding somewhere! It would be fun to reshoot this with the LOTR orcs once they are out. Quote
Vindicare Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 Your character choices reminds me of the video game "Gauntlet". Quote
Lordofdragonss Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 Bewere, new heroes are in town, heh? I agree, stairs are briliant, but I like the whole scene- looking foward for more! Quote
K-Nut Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 Very nice and clean. I love those stairs! Quote
JackJonespaw Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 This is great! I love the spiral stairs! But...what is a skeleton doing in an orc attack? Quote
helikopteros Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 Aside from the show-stopping spiral staircase, there are some really nice details here to round out the scene and provide a lot of color. Great work! Quote
Dwellington Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 This is great! I love the spiral stairs! But...what is a skeleton doing in an orc attack? He's a freelance skeleton looking to make some money in a world that is prejudiced against him, on account of he's dead. Really solid build altogether, man. Great job on that staircase, and I like the use of goblets on the railing. Quote
Bernd Posted February 12, 2012 Author Posted February 12, 2012 (edited) Thanks everyone. Fortunately the stairs perfectly match with the macaroni bricks. This is great! I love the spiral stairs! But...what is a skeleton doing in an orc attack? It's a mercenary. I just like the skeleton and that skull-shield. Little guy in the front! They are the toughest and bravest. de Gothia Posted February 12, 2012 Posted February 12, 2012 Woho, what a nice stair!!! Have to borrow that idea sometime! Great scene with great posing of the minifigs! Quote
streifen Posted February 18, 2012 Posted February 18, 2012 OK! Stop the fight! I want to see the excellent stairs! that stairs of yours would not have been out of place in a mansion/outdoor terrace! Quote
Bernd Posted February 18, 2012 Author Posted February 18, 2012 OK! Stop the fight! I want to see the excellent stairs! that stairs of yours would not have been out of place in a mansion/outdoor terrace! Thanks. A whole mansion was too much work. Quote
dwarf-brik Posted February 19, 2012 Posted February 19, 2012 Those stairs are spot-on! The only thing that could have been done better on the would be to use some red cheese slopes on the railings for added color, but otherwise they arr perfect! I am totally going to utilize that stair technique next time I build a MoC (and yes, I will give you all credit for the stairs). Quote
