Orange Leader Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 Cool to see some minifigures based on Berserk, I love the manga as well and I'm looking forward to the animated movie. I wonder how you will do the Godhand, Guts new party should not be much of a problem to recreate. As a tip for your next photoshoot: please use a plain background instead of your desk and keep the transparant neon green parts away. They really don't blend in with your figures and thats a shame. Abu Dun Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 An interesting project you've got there. I love Berserk as well, but I don't think it lends itself that well for being recreated in LEGO. That being said, you've done a great job on them and I'm eager to see what you'll come up with in the future. As for the figures themselves, I think that Griffith is your best one, with Pippin and Rickert tying for the second place. Young Guts is good as well, but I think that particular head doesn't quite fit I don't know if there are any black female heads, but if so then Casca should definitely get one as she's supposed to have the darkest skin of the entire cast. I imagine Judeau as being the most difficult to convert into a minifig, with that in mind I think you've done the best possible. Those two daggers right under his shoulders do look awkward, though. Corkus and Gaston are spot on, nothing to improve with those two. Zodd is a mixed bag. The weapons, the hair and the facial structures are spot on again, but he really should have Hagrids body as well, since he is even larger than Pippin in his human form. The green colour of the troll-head is suboptimal, but I don't know a head that would fit him any better than the one you've chosen. Finally, if yor're planning to do the apostles, are you going to build them with bricks or do you plan on only using their human forms? Especially Zodd, Grunbeld, the snake-shaped one from the first chapter and Wyald would certainly be worth a try. Rosinu may be a bit too inappropriate, depending on which of her several appearances one chooses Quote
