Gustaff Mk. II Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 Uh, hi. Name's Gustaff, and as you might've already guessed I'm new here. Real name's Steve (but please, call me by my handle here), and I'm 23 years old. I'm from the state of Georgia in the USA, and I've been playing with LEGO sets for as long as I can remember. I've always been interested in buying new sets, though my personal love of LEGO mainly involves the old Bionicle sets and the Hero Factory 1.0 line. I figured since this was probably the best place to socialize about LEGO, I'd just join. I dunno if I'll post much starting off, don't want to impose my opinions or anything, so I'll probably start off slow to post. Quote
BrickBox Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 Hi Gustaff, welcome to EB! I'm not very active on forums myself, but I'd say just post away as long as you don't break any rules So you didn't have any 'dark ages' yourself? Guess you're one of the lucky ones then: no regretful looking back at all the old sets you missed during your Lego abstinence. Quote

Gustaff Mk. II Posted February 10, 2012 Author Posted February 10, 2012 Abstinence? No, I don't think I've ever -not- built a LEGO set (though there are times I've had to pass up buying sets, but only because of a distinct lack of the deciding factor we call 'money'). Though I will say, I tend to retool the same MOC over and over again with newer and newer parts. Most of the Hero Factory sets I buy are usually potential boxes or canisters of spare parts to me as I try to perfect the figures I make. Or rather, figure, in this case. Quote
BrickBox Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 (edited) So you are indeed a lucky one. Watch out though, the dark ages might still hit you eventually... Only good thing about it is you'll have more of the deciding factor left. Edited February 10, 2012 by BrickBox Quote
