Dick McJohnnson Posted February 9, 2012 Posted February 9, 2012 Last week I bought a racing car set from HAWK Blocks, which is the worst fake chinese Lego-like toy I have seen so far. The bricks are of very poor quality and larger than original Lego. So, this i a warning. I reviewed the racing car set on youtube... DO NOT BUY IT! Quote
Peppermint_M Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 Bought one in a polybag set at a market once. Looks like they ripped off old BestLock parts. Stick to Cobi, I only get cheaper clone sets now for the stickers Quote
CMP Posted February 10, 2012 Posted February 10, 2012 (edited) Stick to Cobi, I only get cheaper clone sets now for the stickers I never thought I'd ever hear a statement like that related to LEGO. Nice review. The only thing good out of that racing car was the laugh I got at the end. Edited February 10, 2012 by CallMePieOrDie Quote
Vindicare Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 That is the worst "set" I have seen. Why'd you even buy that? Even if it were $0.01, I still wouldn't buy it. Quote
vexorian Posted February 11, 2012 Posted February 11, 2012 hmnn, it seems standard for bootlegs. I do not know if it is the worst. Interlocking is difficult, but I think that's always the case with bootlegs. A graver problem is if it is hard to disassemble. I wonder if that was the case. I wouldn't put so much importance in bricks being a different size. It is not like you were going to mix LEGO bricks with bootleg bricks... If anything, it is probably best that you will not risk getting legit bricks hurt by putting them together. Quote
