Sir Dillon Posted October 18, 2006 Posted October 18, 2006 Woah.. Those are awesome. The chrome one, especially. 8- Quote
mutley777 Posted October 18, 2006 Posted October 18, 2006 very nice indeed! i take it all the wings are spray painted as they are only available in yellow and dark red. Quote
xwingyoda Posted October 18, 2006 Posted October 18, 2006 Nice paintjob, thats true but sadly thats all :-D Unless there is inside help from TLC for those"wings". Actually its pretty hard to tell ;-) They have been around BS for a couple of weeks, only the chrome one was added really recently ;-) I am sure that TLC will release the Sith Starfighter *wub* (the black JSF for those who are not aware) - the ship that DV flies after ROTS (and that we will probably see in the TV series). *yoda* Quote

I keep checking Peeron for sets that have these octagonal pieces in black because I want to do a Sith Starfighter. We've got the Astromech now from System ISD. A DV minifig is easy and cheap to come by. Need an imperial sticker to go over the Bendu symbol on the Jedi Starfighter. Some months ago, I posted a mini version of this. Why would TLC do one of these, anyway. Its EU. The only EU craft we've had was the TIE/d, which I'm sure is a joke name. Nice work, anyway Quote

Simply because of money !! Seriously, TLC will need to expand to the TV series and/or the EU because they can't keep redesigning sets for what is left of the licence :-D They already start to understand that: in january they will release a set (i.e. the Imperial Landing Craft) that never existed in the OOT and was added on by our "dear" (sense the irony in here) Lucas. He already did that with the Cantina for the Dewback. And since that EP3 JSF is popular, I am sure we will see it painted black on the shelves within 3 years ;-) *yoda* Quote

Besides, what makes you think the license for the tv series is in the current license? Quote
xwingyoda Posted October 19, 2006 Posted October 19, 2006 hm... there's some logic in there, Yoda, however, Lego doesn't work that way... Its common knowledge that a company works only for losses... Besides, what makes you think the license for the tv series is in the current license? I read somewhere that TLC has the WHOLE licence for SW, meaning movies, Clone Wars, Series... *yoda* Quote
Vader Posted October 19, 2006 Posted October 19, 2006 Well i do hope that lego gives us more EU sets and a wider colour range of parts so we can all make more starfighters, Ive actually made a sith starfighter after i saw some pics of it, ill post the custom later. Quote
ReZourceman Posted October 23, 2006 Posted October 23, 2006 Love these. We definitely need those wings in other colours! I also check Peeron/etc a lot for them! Haha. Quote
Ashoka Posted January 7, 2008 Posted January 7, 2008 In 7738 (2008 helicopter resque) there is orange versions of those wing pieces which meens you can make an oragne jedi starfighter. *wub* I agree with *yoda* that they are most likley to produce the sith fighter/ interceptor because they have a licence for anything that is in Star Wars until 2011. Ashoka~ Quote

The imperial dropship, the rebel scout speeder and this anakin's jedi starfighter never were a part of the star wars saga. Quote
Wout Posted January 7, 2008 Posted January 7, 2008 Old thread with terriffic pictures. Oh yes, an orange jedi starfighter would great and a purple for Mace and a Dark green for Kitt (drools) :-D Quote
Omega 8 Posted January 8, 2008 Posted January 8, 2008 This might be my favorite post ever........ He must cast his own parts, they certainly don't look painted and most of the parts aren't available in those colors ..... I want one of each! Also, he has done some droids. they too support the "cast your own" theory http://www.brickshelf.com/cgi-bin/gallery.cgi?f=179207 Quote
Smithy_Boy Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 wow! the Eta-2 is my favorite star wars ship. i wish i could have all of those. Quote
Palin Jax Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 Man, I hope TLC gets my sith mind trick for that black one in imperial markings... with special Dark Lord insert muahahahaha... Great Find! Quote
Dark Sword Ragnarok Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 They can't create new star wars characters and ships. The imperial dropship, the rebel scout speeder and this anakin's jedi starfighter never were a part of the star wars saga. Actually, TLC can do almost anything they want with that license... :-P Lets see, there's the TIE crawler, the Imperial dropship, the Rebel scout speeder, the AT-AP... Must I go on? :-| Lego has made plenty of sets that never appeared in the star wars saga. Quote

Must I go on? :-| Lego has made plenty of sets that never appeared in the star wars saga. Actually the AT-AP appeared in episode 3, the tie crawler appeared in the EU (thrawn novels iirc) and the scout speeder and dropship were created by lego so that hasbro can't "moan" about the battlepacks being "action figure packs" Quote

But the 2 new battle pack and anakin's jedi starfighter never were a part of sw saga. Quote
simonjedi Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 anakin's jedi starfighter never were a part of sw saga. actually it is, its shown in the new clone wars animated TV show. Quote
Lord Admiral Helden Ravensdorn Posted January 9, 2008 Posted January 9, 2008 Woah... excellently done repaints. (And yes, I can tell they are repaints, not specially cast parts.) Neat! Of course, I'd just like to have a Jedi Starfighter - any Jedi Starfighter - much less a fleet of them :P Quote
