Every year, or at least most years I try and write some poetry that refects things that have happened or stuff that has had an impact on my life. The little booklet I put together is usually just given to friends and family for them to read or whatever. This year just gone (2011.) my booklet contained a poem about the anticipation of buying a collectable mini-fig. It is short and admittedly not everyone likes poetry but I thought I'd share it with you. Feel free to ignore it if you like.

The Collectable Mini figure.

What will it be,

Which one will it be?

I can’t wait to see!

Shall I open it quickly,

Or after tea,

What will it be?

What one is it,

With what is it equipped?

I can’t wait to see!

What so excites me,

As together the blocks fit,

What one is it?
